Whether they are advocating for student needs, inspiring growth or helping students overcome everyday challenges, Leigh-Anne Mondesire and Lana Langlois are always coming up with creative solutions to support student well-being and overall success at Clarington Central Secondary School (CCSS)!
As an Educational Assistant (EA) in the Learning Life Skills (LLS) classes at CCSS, Lana’s primary role is to teach valuable skills, support learning and growth and provide one-on-one support with daily activities.

Students at Port Hope High School were excited to revive their community garden this year! With support and donations from the local Port Hope community, the school’s garden project first began in 2019. After a temporary pause due to the pandemic, students and staff were thrilled to pick up where they left off this spring. Students from many different grades and classes took part in the community garden project, sharing their talents and skills.

The school hallways at Warsaw Public School aren’t just squeaky clean thanks to the hard work and exceptional service of Penny Kasaboski, Head Custodian - they are also buzzing with positivity and kindness! Described as “a bright ray of sunshine,” Penny is recognized for her team spirit and the positive energy that she brings to the school community each and every day.

Staff Census Report

As part of KPR's continued focus on supporting inclusive, welcoming environments for both students and staff, our Board completed a Staff Census during fall 2021.
With a completion rate of 78 percent, the results from this census present a strong representation of the diversity of our workforce, helping the Board to better understand who its employees are and identify gaps in representation.
